What is Inter BEE AWARD?
INTER BEE AWARDs are presented to outstanding exhibited products, technologies, services, software, and contents, based on the current technological trends that will greatly influence the future of the media and entertainment industry in general.
Inter BEE contributes to the revitalization and future development of the media and entertainment industry, as well as the advancement of technology and the growth of diverse creative activities in this field.

Preliminary Screening (document review)
All applications will be screened by the review committee members, including reference materials. -
Preliminary Screening
Based on the results of the document review by the judges, a Preliminary Screening will be held to select candidates for the Minister's Award and the category awards. Exhibitors who pass the Preliminary Screening will be informed of the Final Screening after the Preliminary Screening. -
Final Screening(Judging at the venue)
The judging committee members will conduct the final evaluation by visiting each booth on the opening day of the exhibition (11/18) to assess the candidates selected during the primary screening for departmental awards. They will then select the winners for each departmental award. -
Category Award Ceremony
To be held during Inter BEE 2026.
Application Procedure
A maximum of two applications per exhibitor may be submitted.
・A maximum of two files of supplementary materials may be submitted per application.

Materials with images/photos and technical details that provide a concrete image of the submitted project
(PDF, no more than 10 pages in A4 size)
*Portrait or landscape is fine. -
Video materials: MP4 format (submission is optional)
・If you do not submit supplementary materials, there is a possibility that the information required for screening will be insufficient during the Preliminary Screening (document screening).
・Only technologies, products, services, etc. that will be exhibited at Inter BEE 2026 may be submitted.
Entry eligibility of each category award
- We will honor those who are highly regarded for their contributions to the revitalization and advancement of the media and entertainment industry.

Professional Audio Category Award
- Products, technologies, services, software, applications, and systems related to professional audio, utilized in broadcasting stations, studios, live events, streaming facilities, and other environments, as well as content creation and creative technologies, including the use of AI.

Content Creation / Broadcasting & Media (Hardware) Category Award
- Hardware products and product systems centered on hardware, including equipment, technologies, devices, and other solutions related to video and video content production, utilized in broadcasting, online distribution, film, and other diverse media fields, as well as technologies related to content creation, transmission, distribution, and expression.

Content Creation / Broadcasting & Media (Software & Solution) Category Award
- Software, cloud services, platforms, applications, and other products and services, as well as system solutions incorporating these elements and AI applications, utilized in broadcasting, online distribution, film, and other diverse media fields, covering applications ranging from advertising and marketing utilizing video and video content to solutions for various other industries.

Entertainment, Lighting, Video Expression Category Award
- Products, technologies, systems, services, software, applications, and other devices related to video equipment, lighting equipment, and other creative devices, utilized for content presentation in live entertainment, various facilities, online environments, and other settings, as well as content creation and creative technologies, including the use of AI.
Evaluation Process
Each entry will be evaluated and scored by the judging panel based on the following five criteria. The highest-scoring entries will be shortlisted for the final round of judging based on their overall evaluation.

Innovation and Originality
This criterion evaluates the originality and innovation demonstrated by an entry, whether through the introduction of a new product or service or by delivering distinctive advancements over comparable existing products and services.
Evaluation extends beyond breakthrough innovations to include entries that achieve meaningful progress through original or forward-looking enhancements and refinements. -
Technical Excellence
This criterion evaluates the level of technical excellence demonstrated by an entry, whether through the introduction of a new product or service or by delivering significant technical advancements over comparable existing products and services.
Evaluation extends beyond the overall technical excellence of an entry to include entries that demonstrate outstanding technical achievements in specific areas or aspects. -
Market Potential and Economic Value
This criterion evaluates whether the entry meets market needs, demonstrates market demand, and provides economic value for users, as well as its potential for future growth.
Evaluation extends beyond cost-effectiveness to include the entry's ability to address the value sought by markets and users, create new value, and have a broader impact on the relevant field or industry. -
Problem-Solving Capability
This criterion evaluates whether the entry effectively addresses challenges faced by its target field or users, as well as its potential for future impact.
In addition to tangible and significant problem-solving outcomes, evaluation extends to include innovative approaches to addressing challenges and the potential for future achievements. -
Overall Appeal and Other Merits
This criterion evaluates the overall appeal of an entry as a product or service. Particular consideration is given to factors, such as user value, design, quality, and unique value.
It also includes strengths and advantages that may not be fully captured by the other evaluation criteria.
Overview of Awards
In each award category, one Grand Prix and one or two Runner-up awards will be selected and presented. In addition, beyond the individual award categories, the INTER BEE AWARD Jury will conduct a comprehensive review and may present one or more Jury Awards to entries deemed worthy of recognition at a level immediately below the Runner-up.
Furthermore, the INTER BEE AWARD Jury plans to present one or more Inter BEE Expectation for Future awards to support and encourage promising technologies and initiatives.
*As a result of the judging process, there may be cases where no Runner-up is selected.
Other Notes, etc.
- ・The submitted project must not infringe on any other patents, etc., and there must be no patents pending.
- ・Applications will be invalidated in the event of fraudulent activities, such as false statements, or activities that undermine the objectives of the project after the application has been received.
- ・The information provided by applicants during the screening period will be disclosed only to the Screening Committee, and will be handled with the utmost care.
